Igo navigation map global_cfg not found, how to do?

As we know, IGO maps have IGO8, IGO primo and igo my way version. Some friends let us know that they get terminal error message “global_config not found” when starting navigation software.

The error message comes up on the device. The navigation does not start at all as the file in question has been deleted or damaged.

You need check as below steps;

1. you need check if you put these files into corrected folder. Usually, you need put all files in the root of internal storage if windows ce 6.0 (wince 6.0) system; you should put all files in the in the root of internal storage in folder named iGO or IGO_Basar If android system. 
2. Then, please find the “content” folder on your device or SD card, and copy the downloaded zipped file inside the “global_cfg” folder.
   Please note that in order to restore functionality the zipped file (It should not be unzipped), and the old one should be overwritten.
3. Should you receive the “Global_cfg not found” error message after an update please try restoring a backup via last backup(from our files or your hands) and then download the update one more time. After that please check if the error message still pops up.

In case the error is still there, please check your device or SD card for any errors using ScanDisk. To do this, please connect your device or SD card to your computer and troubleshoot by clicking:
Start – My Computer – Right click on the SD card or device flash memory – Properties – Tools – Check Now – check ‘Automatically fix file system errors’ – Start
